Emotional Intelligence

According to (Daniel Goleman), emotional intelligence or EQ includes knowing and controlling one’s emotions, empathy with others and maintaining satisfactory relationships. In other words, a person with high emotional intelligence successfully combines cognitive, physiological and emotional behavior components. Studies have shown that many people with average intelligence quotient or IQ, but with high emotional intelligence have achieved much success. So that now in many developed countries, people with high emotional intelligence are elected for managerial positions.

In Emotional intelligence workshop, like other interactive workshops of RMKC, it is tried to present scientific literature on emotions and emotional intelligence as its controlling mechanism, we try to assist people in the activities carried out in the context of better understanding of emotional intelligence and ways to promote it. In addition, in the workshop, using a standard tool, the participants’ EI is measured to set up counseling sessions if needed.

Workshop objectives:

Participants get knowledge and skills in the following:

  • General familiarity with emotions and emotional intelligence
  • Understanding one’s own and others’ emotions and the ability to control emotions
  • in different situations
  • The ability to mutual understanding and better relationship management


  • Who am I? An activity to further understanding of oneself
  • I and my abilities: identifying strengths and weaknesses of oneself and others
  • How do others see me? Finding out others understanding of us and the

differences with understanding our own perception of ourselves

  • Good oral communication: How to use proper sentences to communicate without

disturbing others

  • Recognizing emotions: Discovering the emotions of others according to their
